Caring for your heat pressed garment
At Grumpy Toad Toggery we want you to buy more shirts from us not because the heat transfer is going bad but because it isn't. The following are some very simple instructions for you to insure your transfer last long enough for you to outgrow that shirt.
- Wrong side is the right side- Turning your garment inside out protects your heatpressed design. You know what those zippers sound like in the dryer right? Can you imagine what it does to heat pressed shirts.
- It's always good to be cool- Wash in cool water and if you are really ambitious line dry. 🤣🤣🤣. Yeah right if you are like 90% of consumers you don't have time for that. So set your dryer to "Delicate" and let it go.
- Read the label- For specific garment instructions. Your shirt will tell you the story. If it needs special care the label will tell you.
Pro Tip: Just like a fine wine heat transfers are better with time. If you are getting your garment straight from the press at Grumpy Toad Toggery, let your shirt marinade in it's awesomeness for atleast 24 hours. This ensures proper bonding of the heat transfer and will make the shirt last much longer.
